Old age is fast approaching, let’s talk about it.

This is just a long birthday rant.

Firstly, I’ll like to thank Futbol Club Barcelona for for giving me the best birthday gift ever. Seeee, okough mi leeeeee!!!! Late minute winner against my biggest rivals, CHABI BALL people!!!!!

It’s been a very interesting year from March 2022 till date. In Zinoleesky’s voice “many things my eyes don see”.

“Cheers to me, na only me know wetin my eyes don see”, I don’t think I’ve seen anything more real. Okay for real, cheers to me cause it’s me that knows what my eyes have seen in my one hundred and sixty-six thousand hours plus on earth (specifically 166,536 hours but I didn’t know how to write it in words).

I lost friends, I made friends. Shallout s’awon goons me, awon eruku mi. They’ve been the best but please it’s 9:34pm and no delivery man has called to confirm my address. Eyin fanz mi, ki lon go on? Maybe they’re keeping it till the big day. I too love these guys.

I’m not happy with where I am but I’m proud of how far I’ve come (PS: don’t ask me how far I’ve come, I just copied and pasted this thing).

I took a break from writing this to watch TikTok (a new habit I have). I just wanted to tell you all that Okunrin fine gan!!! Brother, God took his time to create dark-skinned men.

Alright, where did we stop? Yes, we were talking about Growth. I don’t even remember what I was saying.

Yes, I’ve grown so much that I don’t even recognise myself again. That’s because I’ve lost so much weight, my neck stands like a table lamp.

It’s been a long year of learning and re-learning. I am grateful for everything.

Financially, I’m going through a lot. Eyin fanz me ema gba mi ke, how I can be doing birthday with this kind of account balance? I think GTBank has made a mistake somewhere somehow, I will be visiting my branch manager later today.

According to well calculated plans, I should be shaking my ass in a thong on a yacht in Dubai but I’m here drinking cassava flakes as my first meal of the day. Life is stage by stage, we’ll manage it.

It’s another year, another opportunity to achieve great things from small places, another opportunity to be world-class. Happy Birthday, Jésùmilànàfúnmi Kalejaiye.

I really wanted to host a big party and give out a car to the person that shouts “big LANS!!!” the loudest. Sadly special situations and circumstances did not permit us.
